"Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Sewa Trust (BVP) is a non-governmental, non-political, socio-cultural, service-cum-sanskar oriented, secular and voluntary organization. it was established in 1963 with the objective of development and growth of our beloved nation - Bharat - in all fields of human endeavor - cultural, social, academic, moral and spiritual -by promoting a sense of true patriotism, national unity and integrity. The action plan of BVP is executed through five sutras- Sampark (Fellowship), Sahyog (Co-operation), Sanskar (Moral orientation), Sewa (Service) and Samarpan (Commitment). At present, BVP has approximately 1,600 branches all over India and 12 branches in foreign countries with a family membership almost 65,000 families. BVP's main aim is to organize and motivate the elite and intellectual citizens to serve the poor, disabled, illiterate and ignorant brethren with true spirit of service as a duty and not as an act of charity To accomplish Sewa sutra, Vivekanand Branch of Ludhiana BVP has made one charitable trust named as "Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Sewa Trust". The main objective of the Trust is to channelize the funds donated by the philanthropic persons of the society for the treatment and upliftment of disabled (Divyang) and other weaker section of the society in the field of education, health & natural calamities etc.

Darpan (centre for Autism) is started in 2005 with 3 children. Darpan (centre for Autism) is the first center of north india after Delhi. We provide multiple therapies, counselling and vocational training. We are running an special school as well as early intervention unit. We welcome all the parents, professionals , volunteers, doctors who attached in the field of autism and other disability to empower person with autism and multiple diagnosed to participate in the life and mainstream institutions to the best of their abilities.

Ek Noor Sewa Kendra

"Ek Noor Sewa Kendra is a registered NGO in Ludhiana, working to provide medical aid, food aid, and a lot more to the underprivileged section of the society with the help of mass donations collected from public at large. NGO is working in Civil Hospital, Ludhiana, PGI Chandigarh, Rajindra Hospital Patiala to support the treatment of many underprivileged. Ek Noor adopted more than 50 patients suffering from Kidney failure, and is supporting their treatment, plus their household expenses, if needed, and their children's education. Neki Ki Dukaan is situated on Gill Road, where clothes and other articles are provided to the needy at Rs. 20/- per article, and the collective amount generated from the revenue is being used to buy medicines for the less fortunate ones. Neki Ki Rasoi is established in Dhuri Line area, where meals are prepared for patients admitted in Shri Krishna Charitable Hospital, Guru Nanak Charitable Hospital, Civil Hospital, and their attendants. The food is packed and sent to hospitals through Neki Di Gaddi, and is distributed bed to bed in all the three hospitals. A sewing and stitching centre (Hunar) has established in a Gurudwara Sahib in Shimlapuri, where free of cost training is given to the ladies, so that they can earn their livelihood. Now, Neki Da Hospital is under construction, and will be ready by the end of this year. Treatments, especially surgeries are done at no-profit-no-loss basis. If one can't support their treatment, it is funded from the donations collected at large. Food Aid is being provided to those families who have underwent through some casualties, thus helping them in their times of need.

Helping Hands Club ® N.G.O. We had started a N.G.O. with name “HELPING HANDS CLUB” on 27th of Sep.,2010. We had started it in order to serve the society and needy people. So its Tag line is “Help the Helpless”. We are performing following Social Activities for welfare of Mankind. 1. Blood Donation Camps: We are organizing blood donation camp and arranging the required blood and its components as earliest as possible. Till now we have arranged more than 3000 blood units all across Punjab. 2. Waste Management : In waste management we try to manage yours waste products for needy , in this we are collecting old clothes, Books and Medicines. Under this project we have worked with many major organizations like Indian Organics Limited (Trident Group), Dainik Bhaskar News Paper, Fortis Hospital, MBD Neopolis Mall . In this we are distributing woolens to around 4000 needy people every year. 3. Free Education Center: We started our first free education center on 01st December 2013 inaugurated by IPS Mr. Deepak Hilori. IN this center we are giving training of Computer Basics and advance, English Speaking Course & Personality Development, Tally Accountancy and Computer Hardware & Networking. We are teaching in such manner that a learnt person can get self employed and fulfill his dreams. 4. Orphanage and Old age Home: With team support and hard work we were able to get a land for orphanage and old age home at Village Bagga Kalan, Laddowal-Hambran Road, Ludhiana where we are constructing for above both categories and approx 32 bedding facility will be there. We will also provide education to the residents. 5. Ek Jung Cancer ke sang : Ek Jung cancer ke sang is a project where we are trying to motivate the cancer patients which have lost all hopes of life . We manage to meet them with cancer champions. The patients get motivation from champions that if they can be cure then why we can’t. In this we also manage to provide medical treatment free of cost to cancer patients. 6. Book Bank & Public library : we are also working on the task of providing free books to the needy students. As we know there are many children in India who are incapable to develop their skills due to financial problem. So we are always ready to support those children. In year 2021 we distributed around 1,50,000 books. 7. Free Legal AID: Helping Hands Club ® NGO is also associated with Judiciary, Where we are managing a Legal AID Clinic and providing free Legal Aid and Compensation schemes to needy people, provided by National Legal services Authority, New Delhi. It’s a body of Honorable Supreme Court. 8. Women Empowerment & Awareness programs : Our NGO is running a women Wing whose members are always ready to help the needy & helpless women and girls, we are providing training of self defense to many girls, mainly to visually challenged girls. With this we are performing many stage plays and Nukkad Natak “Street plays” on various social evils & topics like Drugs de-addiction, Child abuse, Health and self defense. In addition to above, we are also serving the society in many other ways like stress management training to 100s of schools located in Punjab, Many schools are also associated with us. We focus on one thing that is “We can’t help everyone but everyone can help someone” So we want society to help others without looking at their own benefits and we want maximum people who can be helpful for us in serving the society .It is rightly remarked that “UNION IS STRENGTH” so we all together can provide solution of any problem .

About Initiators of Change: Initiators of Change is a Punjab based Youth Development Non-profit organization established in 2015 with a vision to create young and energetic leaders for the country which are politically and socially aware. Doing this by working on their all round development with a formula of 4 A’s Arts, Athletics, Academics and awareness. Initiators of change has been working with Ludhiana District Administration and Municipal Corporation in various social projects. The organization has successfully organized various youth conferences and Leadership seminars in various cities of Punjab and north India and has impacted millions through its programmes. One of the Major Projects of the Organization has been the Voter Awareness campaigns since 2017. Keeping the 2017 Punjab Assembly elections in mind, the team started a campaign called I vote I Lead to make the youth aware about the power of vote and to take the youth voter percentage higher. The team worked in collaboration with District election officers as the flag bearers of their SVEEP Activities. The campaign was marked as one of the most successful voter awareness campaigns in Punjab and the team was honored by District Electoral Officer Ludhiana and Chief Electoral Officer Punjab on National Voters Day 2017. The team reached out to more than 35000 youngsters in 3 months and also made a national record for largest gathering of youth voter card holders at one place by inviting 7000 youngsters on 29th January 2017. This Record was recognized by India book of Records. The campaign was taken to a National Level in 2019 for the General Elections in India wherein the teams of the Organization reach out to over 2.5 Lac youth voters creating over a lac first time voters and spreading the Awareness on Smart voting. A volunteer base of over 2000 Volunteers worked with the Chief Electoral Officers of Delhi and Punjab. Initiators of Change has been honored by Election Commission of India for working at such mass level in Ludhiana district for youth Voter awareness. Founder of Initiators of Change Mr. Gauravdeep Singh has also been honored with National Youth Award 2015-16 By Government of India and Rashtriya Gaurav Puraskar 2018. Currently Initiators Of Change is running a Project with the name of PROJECT USAARI (Unfolding skills and Ambitions of Rural India). An initiative to develop the government schools of punjab and the soft skills of their students. The mission is to make 50 government schools of Punjab digitally equipped and structurally sound for a safe and healthy environment to study.

We work to provide educational and health services to the needy, mainstreaming marginalized street children. The foundation is concerned with education of slum children as these children grew up malnourished and uneducated.
