Act Humane
Act Humane is a 100% volunteer based initiative led by Ms. Harleen Kaur.
Our name “Act Humane” represents our goal as well as our methods, our aim is to provide health, education and employment to everyone & work towards environmental protection. We provide education, supplemental food and medical assistance to most disadvantaged society and trying to improve the quality of life through government initiated schemes and benefits by organizing awareness campaigns and helping them implement it through camps conducted for those highly vulnerable people.
Our Vision:
We help vulnerable sections of the society by empowering them about their rights and benefits available to them by the government and international organizations. To break the cycle of poverty through education.
Our Mission:
To ensure every person of vulnerable sections of the society should be aware of their rights and are able to reap the benefits available to them for their overall development.
Our Work:
Organized the oral cancer screening campfor labours in factories.
Organized artificial limb camp donated 30 artificial limbs, a wheelchair and a tricycle for a differently abled in Ludhiana.
Organized camps for sanitary napkin distribution, educational programs for menstrual hygiene for underprivileged women.
We also conducted educational and health awareness programs and workshops where we educate people for better and healthy living and helping needy students and other people.
Organized Awareness camp regarding the rights and benefits available to disable people in collaboration with civil surgeon and DSSO.
Organized Mission HaraBara , With district administration of Ludhiana by sponsoring in a Haryali ATM van that will be planting trees across city.
