The Government is offering various benefits to the under privileged including disabled though its welfare schemes.
In spite of heavy promotion and awareness drives by the Government many candidates do not respond or take action to avail these schemes. Our partner NGO Act Humane has setup a mobilization team with CityNeeds for door to door counseling & Tele-Calling to make these people aware, assist them in documentation to avail the government schemes such as pension for disabled.
We have set a target of enrolling 1200 beneficiaries & facilitate 2 Crores of annual pensions to them with a small cost of 4 Lacs for mobilisation & facilitation. Average cost of mobilization is Rs. 300 per candidate that will get them Rs. 18,000 p.a for their life.
3 camps have already being executed and over 100 disabled persons have qualified to get pension.
