This means to live further he urgently needs a kidney transplant. His mother will donate her kidney to him and are awaiting legal clearances. Harmanjot has left the school and is waiting for someone to fund his treatment because his father can't afford it.
Harmanjot's father works as a driver for a salary of Rs. 12,000 and the cost of the transplant is estimated to be around 5 to 6 lac, which is impossible for his family to arrange. His mother is a home maker and is busy taking care of him and taking him to hospital for Dialysis. This can't continue for long and he needs urgent help to survive.
