Guru Amar Das Apahaj Ashram, located in Ludhiana, provides shelter to over 250 homeless senior citizen individuals who are either mentally or physically challenged.
These vulnerable people often do not have a sense of identity or belonging and have been rescued from the streets or brought to the ashram by the authorities.
The ashram doesn't stop at providing shelter; it also boasts a well-equipped kitchen and a clinic where residents receive medical attention from experienced visiting doctors. One critical and ongoing need of the ashram is a regular supply of medicines.
