The crisis which is still going on for more than 5 months now has resulted in more than 200 people being killed and more than 50,000 displaced from their homes. Almost all the displaced people are putting up in temporary Relief Camps some of which are in open sheds, schools and colleges etc.
Needless to say that life in these relief camps is harsh and difficult. With winter coming the problem is compounded and the vulnerable ones are children, the elderly and those having medical problems. Every help which can be extended to the displaced people will help in relieving some of the pain that they have gone through and are still going through.
Goal: Raise Rs 30,000 to purchase 100 warm blankets for displaced families.
