Physically Challenged patients visiting the Civil Hospital Ludhiana were facing inconvenience due to shortage of wheel chairs and trolleys.
We observed this during our last visit to Civil Hospital Ludhiana and reported the matter to authorities. We learnt that the number of patients has increased tremendously and more infrastructure is in process but these items have a lot of wear and tear so the requirement is more.
Our youth wing of NGO Women Next Door has pledged to make a small contribution to this problem and invite your support. We have obtained the quotations of each item from different vendors and have uploaded the best one in the download section above.
Our Goal
We need 1.50 lacs rupees to buy this material. Another team of young minds have joined us with a contribution of Rs 50,000/- that they have collected by selling paintings made by them for this fund raiser.

With these funds we will purchase and deliver the following to Civil Hospital
•Trolley with Side Rails (2) no: To ensure patients have a comfortable resting space while waiting.
•Folding Wheelchairs (2) no:: For those who need assistance in getting around the hospital. •Ordinary Trolleys with Mattress (6) no: Extra resting spots for patients during busy times. •Non-Folding Wheelchairs (6) no:: A variety of mobility options for different needs.
•Waiting Area Chairs (3) no: Patient Waiting Chairs Set of Three Chairs for patients and their attendants.
