    Support This Shelter Home That Takes Care Of Over 650 Dogs& Cats

    “It started with around 35 dogs and now I have a shelter that caters to more than 650 dogs on a daily basis. There are days when I might not have food on my plate but I’ll make sure none of my children starve.

    It’s not at all easy but when I see them healthy and happy, it just keeps me going.”- Pooja, founder of Furry Angel Welfare Society. 
    Furry Angel Welfare Society is a Ludhiana-based NGO that rescues abandoned and injured dogs and cats, providing them with shelter and all the care they need to recover. 

    “There are many cases where many pets are abandoned by their owners themselves when they can't afford their treatment or they are not willing to spend for the treatment. It’s just heartbreaking but they can’t be left alone to die, right?” - Pooja
    Monthly expenses of the NGO are around 1 lakh rupees which include food, shelter, and treatment for all the 650+ dogs and cats. With limited resources, Pooja struggles to keep up with the expenses.
