Samvedna Trust
Samvedna trust was started in October 2009. It works 24*7 for the poor and needy. The trust has a total of 7 ambulances with different capacities, Shav Vahan, and de-freezers. Till date, trust has shifted nearly 35000 patients and over 13000 deceased patients. This service is totally free of cost to beneficiaries in 40 kms of Ludhiana. It has also worked closely with Civil Hospital in Ludhiana to provide an AC mortuary, blankets, CCTV Cameras and other required items like bedsheets, drawer sheets, and clothes for patients. Its work also includes donations and charitable help to schools, for poor girls' marriage and education, for blood donation camps, and de-addiction and sports missions.
Under Covid-19,
Samvedna Trust has:
- Distributed 50000+ sanitizers, 1 lac masks, gloves etc all over Ludhiana to doctors, staff, administration. Also distributed Dry Ration Kits to 4000 families. Moreover, arranged service of 4 Ambulances for picking up bodies of covid victims, 2 ambulances for normal patients, and 2 ambulances for covid patients only. Also maintained mortuary for covid dead bodies. Plus, 20000 people were vaccinated under special camps by Samvedna trust
