Anita is a 27-year-old young mother from Ludhiana whose life took a tragic turn just months after childbirth.

She developed post-partum cardiomyopathy, a severe condition in which the heart becomes dangerously weak. At present, her heart is functioning at only about 20% of normal capacity, placing her life at constant risk.

Along with heart failure, Anita is also suffering from serious breathing complications, recurring infections, severe anemia, and kidney failure. She requires hemodialysis every alternate day and continuous medication. She has spent several days in the ICU, required ventilator support, and has undergone multiple blood transfusions. Her treatment involves doctors from cardiology, nephrology, medicine, and gynecology, making her care complex and ongoing.

Anita’s husband works as a machine operator and is the only earning member of the family. The couple has been married for just two years and has no parents or family support to rely on. In their desperate attempt to save Anita’s life, the family has already sold all their jewellery, taken loans, and spent nearly Rs.10 lakh on medical treatment.

Despite these efforts, Anita’s treatment cannot be stopped. Doctors have advised that another Rs.3–4 lakh will be required to continue her care. At this moment, there is an urgent need of Rs.1 lakh to manage medicines, dialysis, and immediate hospital expenses. Without timely financial support, continuing her treatment will become extremely difficult.

Anita’s recovery is still possible with consistent medical care. Your contribution, no matter how small can directly help meet her urgent medical needs and give this young mother a chance to survive, recover, and return to her child.

We request you to support Anita in any way you can and share this appeal with others who may be willing to help.
