Nitish worked in a hosiery and developed a heart problem an year ago for which he was operated upon but had to leave his job.
Now the only earning member is his wife who works in a school of Mentally Challenged children and earns Rs 6200/- in which she manages the household with two little daughters and an ill husband.
There is no one in her in-laws to support and they live in a rented room in Joshi nagar Haibowal, Ludhiana that was verified by our partner NGO Marshall Aid.
Nitish is again hospitalised with the same problem and has infection but needs to clear his pending bill of Rs 45,000/- without which further treatment cannot be done. Their savings have already been used in previous treatment and they are under debt and have no money to continue the treatment.
