Guru Amar Das Apahaj Ashram in Ludhiana is providing shelter to more than 200 homeless people who are mentally or physically challenged. These people don't know who they are and where they belong to but have been either rescued by the ashram from roads or dropped by the police.
The ashram not only provides them shelter but has a proper kitchen and a clinic where residents are attended by senior visiting doctors. The ashram needs medicines in routine and the requirement for February 2023 is listed here. (Click on the download button)
Ms. Ritu Baweja of CityNeeds Philanthropy Club, which is a group of members who contribute a fixed amount every month and raise funds for a particular cause as per requirement of a local NGO and personally deliver the resources.
