Mission Hara Bhara Ludhiana was started on 21st July 2022 with the support of the Deputy Commissioner and District Forest Office. An innovative concept of Haryali Van was introduced in association with CityNeeds and partner NGOs.

The project was initially funded by Let's Clean Ludhiana Foundation and Act Humane and is coordinated by Small Ideas and Great Ideas whereas the execution is done by volunteers of Marshal Aid Foundation.

In this project anyone from Ludhiana can book plants through a missed call facility. Saplings of Sheesham, Drek,  Gauva,Jammun, Kaner, Hibiscus, Neem, Amla, Amaltas and Bottle Brush are available to book.

The van with plants, a drill machine for digging pots, gardener and volunteers moves out every day as per the route plan and plant saplings at requested places. An overwhelming response to this unique and extraordinary campaign has been received and people are excited wherever the van reaches. 

At all places people including children, women, youth and senior citizens join hands with the volunteers to plant trees. The demand has far exceeded the initial donations of Rs 1,10,000/- from NGOs and to make it running we need more funds. We are short by Rs. 30,000/- and appeal to environmentalists to contribute a bit to complete the project.
