We are writing this with a sense of urgency and a deep concern for the thousands of families who have been severely affected by the recent floods in Punjab.
The devastating floods have left many villages submerged and cut off from the mainstream, plunging the resilient residents into a state of despair and unimaginable loss. In the wake of this calamity, a team of dedicated individuals, known as Initiators of Change, has been tirelessly working for the past six days in the towns of Patiala, Fatehgarh Sahib, and Ropar. IOC team members, on the ground, have reported that these areas have been hit the hardest, and the situation remains critical. While the first priority was to save lives during the floods, now that the waters are receding, a new danger emerges—the outbreak of diseases and the threat of animal deaths loom large over the survivors.

To address this imminent threat, Initiators of Change is determined to set up medical check-up camps in the affected areas. Their objective is to provide immediate healthcare assistance and necessary treatments to those who are most vulnerable. However, we cannot achieve this without your generous support.
