We are a group of like minded people who have joined heads and hands to eradicate illiteracy, poverty, disease and distress of the society. We agree with her Herbert Hoover, that children are our most valuable resource. The working of the trust revolves around Nelson Mandela’s remarks, history will judge us by the difference we make in the everyday lives of children. Our journey of 10 years bubbles with more than 80 events which have touched the lives of thousands of children and girls hailing from weaker section of the society. The events pertain to the fields of education, health, environment and economic development.

"Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Sewa Trust (BVP) is a non-governmental, non-political, socio-cultural, service-cum-sanskar oriented, secular and voluntary organization. it was established in 1963 with the objective of development and growth of our beloved nation - Bharat - in all fields of human endeavor - cultural, social, academic, moral and spiritual -by promoting a sense of true patriotism, national unity and integrity. The action plan of BVP is executed through five sutras- Sampark (Fellowship), Sahyog (Co-operation), Sanskar (Moral orientation), Sewa (Service) and Samarpan (Commitment). At present, BVP has approximately 1,600 branches all over India and 12 branches in foreign countries with a family membership almost 65,000 families. BVP's main aim is to organize and motivate the elite and intellectual citizens to serve the poor, disabled, illiterate and ignorant brethren with true spirit of service as a duty and not as an act of charity To accomplish Sewa sutra, Vivekanand Branch of Ludhiana BVP has made one charitable trust named as "Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Sewa Trust". The main objective of the Trust is to channelize the funds donated by the philanthropic persons of the society for the treatment and upliftment of disabled (Divyang) and other weaker section of the society in the field of education, health & natural calamities etc.

Darpan(centre for Autism) is a registered non profit organisation, is the first initiative taken by few nobel souls, to start services for the children having autism and their families in Punjab. Darpan (centre for Autism) is started in 2005 with 3 children. Darpan (centre for Autism) is the first center of north india after Delhi. We provide multiple therapies, counselling and vocational training. We are running an special school as well as early intervention unit. We welcome all the parents, professionals , volunteers, doctors who attached in the field of autism and other disability to empower person with autism and multiple diagnosed to participate in the life and mainstream institutions to the best of their abilities.

We are running Jyoti Kendra Charitable General Hospital at Ludhiana, Punjab since 1976 Though Smt. Bhagwati Devi Memorial Society for Blind. At This hospital we provide affordable treatment for Eye, Dental & General Health (Medicine OPD) with diagnostic lab, x-ray & physiotherapy. Department of alternative medicine with Acupressure & Accupuncture are additional modes of treatment that are available. Under Devsarit Foundation we provide medical care to destitute animals. We provide financial support for study and house hold expenses to really needy; as differently abled, orphaned or widows.

Ekjot- Viklang bachhon ka school was established in 2010. The objective of the organization is to serve for specially able children. The school is working as a sewa kendra (day care) wherein especially able children are taken care of. They are taught music, sign language, stitching and computer. We are also providing employment to especially able people who teach their skill of stitching and sign language to students. We channelize funds in enhancing the quality of life of these unprivileged kids. There are kids who are adults but they don’t know anything about life. Some are blind but blessed with beautiful voice, they learn music and in the evening they have their computer classes. We have given shelter to some blind children. These children are from under privileged society and their parents are not able to afford their living cost and treatments.

"Ek Noor Sewa Kendra is a registered NGO in Ludhiana, working to provide medical aid, food aid, and a lot more to the underprivileged section of the society with the help of mass donations collected from public at large. NGO is working in Civil Hospital, Ludhiana, PGI Chandigarh, Rajindra Hospital Patiala to support the treatment of many underprivileged. Ek Noor adopted more than 50 patients suffering from Kidney failure, and is supporting their treatment, plus their household expenses, if needed, and their children's education. Neki Ki Dukaan is situated on Gill Road, where clothes and other articles are provided to the needy at Rs. 20/- per article, and the collective amount generated from the revenue is being used to buy medicines for the less fortunate ones. Neki Ki Rasoi is established in Dhuri Line area, where meals are prepared for patients admitted in Shri Krishna Charitable Hospital, Guru Nanak Charitable Hospital, Civil Hospital, and their attendants. The food is packed and sent to hospitals through Neki Di Gaddi, and is distributed bed to bed in all the three hospitals. A sewing and stitching centre (Hunar) has established in a Gurudwara Sahib in Shimlapuri, where free of cost training is given to the ladies, so that they can earn their livelihood. Now, Neki Da Hospital is under construction, and will be ready by the end of this year. Treatments, especially surgeries are done at no-profit-no-loss basis. If one can't support their treatment, it is funded from the donations collected at large. Food Aid is being provided to those families who have underwent through some casualties, thus helping them in their times of need.

Organised traffic safety awarenesss seminars alongwith our traffic police department for school children in feb 2021. Ashirwad, a unit of the north India cerebral palsy association(NICPA), is a prominent cross-disability NGO of Punjab working for children and adults with developmental disabilities including cerebral palsy, mental retardation, down syndrome, autism &multiple disabilities. Our sphere of work currently runs broadly along 3 verticals:-early intervention, NIOS(national institute of open schooling) for age group 6 to 16 years, vocational training: we run vocational units: bakery unit, cookery, food production, stitching, art, and craft, etc we make wall hangings, potlis, painted planters, beaded curtains strings, cloth napkins, painted kettles, shagun envelopes, bookmarks, aprons, and pebble art paperweights, etc.

This group was started on1-04-2014 with sixteen members. The rock foundation got registered on 18-07-2015 under society act. Each member is donating minimum 1000 Rs per month either by cash, cheque or bank transfer. Our foundation is covered under section 80 g of incomr tax act with which any body can avail the rebate benefit of the donation given by him . Now we have 150 members in the group. More ever if any one does not want to become the member he can donate any amount to our group. We have permanent A/C in CMC , DMC and MOHNDAI hospitals. It means that our deposit is there in these hospitals. Whenever we get the call from Doctors, Emergency Office, Billing Office or Patient himself approaches us. Our members randomly go there to assess that the case is genuine or not, after assessing them properly, they try to meet the doctors to know about the patient’s condition and what happened to them. Then they enquire from the billing office what is his actual bill right now and what he has deposited till now. If he is discharged at that time we give the letter for the amount to be debtied from our A/C. If he is not dischargedwe commit for the amount to be given at the time of discharge. One copy of that letter is given to the hospital and one is kept by us for record purpose. The Rock Foundation has adopted 26children in DMC of Thelesemia. We have given them I-Card on which their complete Bio Data is printed with the Rock Foundation name. they come to the hospital with their I-Cards. All get units of blood according to their requirements free of cost. Moreover all the payments are made by cheque only.
